Physical therapy and Rehabilitation is a health care profession that works autonomously and as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare team within a wide variety of healthcare settings. It covers a broad range of physical problems associated with different systems of the body, particularly in treating pain, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory systems and general fitness related issues in adults as well as pediatrics.
Its ultimate goal is to reduce the hospital stay and improve functional status of the patients.
