Advancing Excellence in Urological Oncology: Bladder Cancer Workshop at SIUT

A highly successful and prestigious Bladder Cancer Workshop was conducted at Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation under the auspices of the Pakistan Association of Urological Surgeons. The workshop was formally accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, reflecting its high academic standards and international recognition.
The program brought together leading surgeons and trainees from across the country, with participation of 40 delegates. It featured distinguished academic presentations alongside immersive hands-on training sessions, including TURBT hands-on simulation. Practical training in uretero-ileal anastamosis and stoma formation was conducted using bovine intestine and trachea models, providing participants with realistic operative experience and technical refinement.
The workshop served as an exemplary academic initiative, showcasing the future of surgical education through innovation, advanced learning, and skill development in contemporary urological oncology.
