Strengthening Pediatric Critical Care Through PFCCS at SIUT

The Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS) Course recently conducted at SIUT – Karachi, bringing together healthcare professionals from Islamabad, Multan, Sukkur, Karachi, and many other regions of Pakistan.
The course provided an interactive learning environment focused on the principles of pediatric critical care, evidence-based management, and hands-on skill development. The enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment demonstrated throughout the two-day program reflected the growing dedication to advancing pediatric critical care services across the country.
Led by Course Directors Dr. Wash Dev and Dr. Masooma Hassan, along with Co-Directors Dr. Naveed Ur Rehman (AKUH) and Dr. Fakhir Raza Haidri (SIUT), PFCCS served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional collaboration, and capacity building, reinforcing our collective commitment to improving the care of critically ill children in Pakistan.
