The Library of SIUT came into existence in 1991 in Seminar Room of SIUT and Mr. Rafiullah Khan was the First Chief Librarian. In 1997 the Library was shifted to the Dewan Farooq Medical Centre on 5th Floor. The library was named the “Khawaja Muin Ahmed library” for his excellence in the field of medicine. SIUT library is basically a reference library. The library has continuously been improved not only as a collection of books, but also database. The library has been subscribing 74 national and international research Journals. It has more than 4500 books covering 49 subjects. Library subscribing 75 Print plus online journals.
