The Department of Pharmacy & Pharmacy Services, SIUT, recently organized an academic and professional program in observance of World Pharmacists Day 2025, under the leadership of the Head of Pharmacy & Pharmacy Services.

The event fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and emphasized the evolving roles of pharmacists in evidence based clinical care, patient safety, and public health. It reaffirmed SIUT’s dedication to delivering safe, effective, and patient centered pharmaceutical care.

Esteemed speakers including Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harris Shoaib (Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Karachi), Dr. Obaid Ali (Lead, Strategic Office, DRAP), Dr. Aslam Shah, Mr. Abdur Razzaq Memon, Mrs. Quratulain Jaffri, Dr. Aftab Ansari, Mr. Zaid Hashmi, and Dr. Sidra Khan (SIUT), shared valuable insights on emerging trends shaping the future of pharmacy, in collaboration with practitioners, academics, and health officials.
