A 37-member team of Armed Forces Post Graduate Medical Institute of Rawalpindi paid a visit of SIUT. The prime objective of the team visit was to familiarize themselves with the activities taking place at SIUT in the field of transplant technology and other renal ailments.
Professor Anwar Naqvi apprised the members of the visiting team about the unique philosophy which is being practiced at SIUT for the last four decades. He said treatment at SIUT is totally free and the Institute is serving all the incoming patients without any discrimination. He also briefed the team members about the deceased organ donation program which is one of the major initiatives of SIUT.
Also spoke on the occasion was Dr. Asma Nasim who briefed about infectious diseases. The visiting members of the delegation later went round the various section of the Institute. Expressed their deep appreciation for the facilities that are provided to the patients they complimented the entire team of SIUT for their outstanding services.
