Uro-Oncology clinics are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with an attendance of more than 250 patients per week. The clinic is managed jointly by surgical, medical and radiation oncologists. Patients are thoroughly examined. Investigations include ultrasound, CT/MR imaging, radioisotope scanning, and routine haematology, biochemistry and urinalysis. End-stage patients are seen by an anaesthetist for pain management. Patients on chemotherapy are admitted for day-care in specific chemo-bays. Last year around 14000 patients attended oncology clinic.
